Bangladesh win the Sahara Cup ODI Series 3-2

Bangladesh win the Sahara Cup ODI series by 3-2. They beat West Indies by 2 wickets in the thrilling fifth and final match at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka. Earlier Bangladesh won the 1st and 2nd ODI at Khulna and lost the 3rd and 4th at Dhaka. Today West Indies batted first after losing the toss and had another batting collapse despite attacking knock by Pollard of 85 runs and 51 runs of Powell. West Indies were all out in 48 over and could manage 217 runs in board.
In reply Bangladesh were also in trouble losing three wickets within 30 runs, but the partnership of 91 runs between skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and his deputy Mahmudullah gave Bangladesh the hope. Another crucial partnership between the teen agers Nasir Hossain and Mominul Haque of 53 runs put Bangladesh in the winning seat. Finally Nasir finishes the match by a winning stroke to boundary to make Bangladesh winner of the Sahara Cup ODI series.
Mahmudullah judged man of the match for his match winning performance and Mushfiq judged man of the series for his performance throughout the series.
