BPL 2nd Edition starts 17 January

The second edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 competition will begin on 17 January 2013. The BPL Governing Council decided on the starting date in a meeting on Wednesday (10 October).
Other important decisions taken at the meeting:
1. The Franchisee Auction will be held on 09 November 2012
2. Player Auction on 07 December 2012-10-11
3. The following venues will be in use –
a) Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur
b) MA Aziz Stadium, Chittagong
c) Sheikh Abu Nasser Stadium, Khulna
d) Sylhet Divisional Stadium (For warm-up matches only)
e) Shahid Kamaruzzaman Stadium, Rajshahi (For warm-up matches only)
