BANGLADESH CRICKET LEAGUE (LONGER VERSION): Walton Central Zone batsman Asif Ahmed fined
Walton Central Zone batsman Asif Ahmed has been fined ten (10) percent of his match fees for code of conduct breach on the last day (Sunday, 30 Dec.) of the Bangladesh Cricket League match against Prime Bank South Zone at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Ahmed was reported by the on field umpires for showing dissent after being given out in his team's second innings. The act is considered a Level 1 offence as per the the code of conduct set for players and officials. Match referee ASM Roquibul Hassan imposed the penalty after the cricketer accepted full responsibility for his behaviour. No hearing was required.
