BCB condemns vandalism for tickets
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) strongly condemns the vandalism some unruly elements carried out at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and adjacent areas this morning in the pretext of protesting non-availability of tickets for the third ODI of the Sahara Cup series.
The way the mob tried to cause damage to the Sahara-BCB National Cricket Academy and BCB property has shocked every cricket-loving person as this is the home of Bangladesh cricket and the breeding ground for future stars who make the country proud. The Board believes that this can never be the act of genuine cricket fans whose unconditional support is the driving force behind the sport in Bangladesh.
The BCB calls upon all to respect the sanctity of cricket venues across the country and hopes that cricket lovers will be on guard against any instigation to bring this noble game into disrepute.
